In Tuesday's league challenge, the host William Monroe Dragons volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Harrisonburg Blue Streaks.

The Dragons (8-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Rocktown (Harrisonburg, VA). The Raptors come into the Valley challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Rocktown was nudged by Eastern Mennonite (Harrisonburg, VA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Blue Streaks meet the Broadway Gobblers (Broadway, VA) in a Valley challenge, on Thursday, October 2. Harrisonburg will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record. The Gobblers come into the outing with a 10-3 record after their 3-0 league win over East Rockingham (Elkton, VA).
