Kansas High School Volleyball - Little River over Herington

Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Little River Redskins (Little River, KS) and the visiting Herington Railroaders (Herington, KS), saw Little River's volleyball squad achieve victory over Herington by a score of 2-0.

With the win, Little River improves its record to 22-2 on the season. The Redskins host Rural Vista [Hope/White City] (Hope, KS) to meet the Heat in a Wheat State challenge on Tuesday, September 30. The Heat enter the challenge with a record of 14-6. Rural Vista [Hope/White City] won 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Canton-Galva (Canton, KS)

Next, the Railroaders meet the Council Grove Braves (Council Grove, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 2. Herington will attempt to upgrade on its 6-12 season record. The Braves enter the challenge with a 0-20 record after their 2-0 league loss to Cair Paravel (Topeka, KS).
