Hiawatha Red Hawks (Hiawatha, KS) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting St. Marys Bears (St. Marys, KS), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Hiawatha improves its record to 10-18 on the season. The Red Hawks travel to Sabetha (Sabetha, KS) to play the Bluejays in a Big East challenge on Thursday, October 2. The Bluejays come into the challenge with a record of 2-17. Sabetha lost 2-0 in their recent league challenge against Hiawatha (Hiawatha, KS)

Next, the Bears play the Royal Valley Panthers (Hoyt, KS) in a Big East challenge, on Thursday, October 2. St. Marys will attempt to upgrade on its 1-27 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 8-13 record after their 2-0 league loss to Silver Lake (Silver Lake, KS).
