In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Pacific Grove Breakers volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Hollister Haybalers.

The Breakers (12-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Carmel (Carmel, CA). The Padres go into the Pacific Coast - Gabilan test with a 5-4 record.

The Haybalers now own a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Palma for a Pacific Coast - Gabilan test on Thursday, October 2. Hollister will face a Chieftains squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Monte Vista Christian (Watsonville, CA). The Chieftains record now stands at 10-5.
