Homer Trojans (Homer, MI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Vandercook Lake Jayhawks (Jackson, MI), 3-0 in a league challenge.

With the triumph, Homer upgrades its record to 12-11 on the campaign. The Trojans host Vandercook Lake (Jackson, MI) to play the Jayhawks in a Cascades challenge on Saturday, October 4. The Jayhawks come into the challenge with a record of 0-14.

In their next game, the Jayhawks face the Pittsford Wildcats (Pittsford, MI) in a non-league test, on Thursday, October 2. Vandercook Lake will attempt to advance on its 0-14 season record. The Wildcats go into the test with a 6-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Tekonsha (Tekonsha, MI).
