Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Humboldt Hawks (St. Paul, MN) and the host Washington Tech Eagles (St. Paul, MN), observed Humboldt's volleyball team hold off Washington Tech by a count of 3-2.

The Hawks (9-11) will now prepare for their contest against North Lakes Academy (Forest Lake, MN). The Huskies enter the non-league contest with a 1-11 record. In their last contest, North Lakes Academy was tipped by Spectrum (Elk River, MN), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Eagles battle the Harding Knights (St. Paul, MN) in a St. Paul City battle, on Monday, October 6. Washington Tech will attempt to improve on its 7-8 season record. The Knights go into the battle with a 7-9 record after their 3-0 league win over Johnson (St. Paul, MN).
