Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Marble Falls Mustangs (Marble Falls, TX) and the visiting Jarrell Cougars (Jarrell, TX), observed Marble Falls's volleyball team top Jarrell by a count of 3-0.

The Mustangs (12-10) will now prepare for their contest against Burnet (Burnet, TX). The Bulldogs enter the 4A Region III District 24 contest with a 20-7 record. In their last battle, Burnet was defeated by Gateway College Preparatory (Georgetown, TX), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Cougars now own a 6-27 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Salado for a 4A Region III District 24 battle on Friday, October 3. Jarrell will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Taylor (Taylor, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 24-12.
