Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Lakin Broncs (Lakin, KS) and the host Stanton County Trojans (Johnson, KS), observed Lakin's volleyball team top Stanton County by a count of 2-0.
The Broncs (19-3) will now prepare for their contest against Lebo (Lebo, KS). The Wolves enter the non-league contest with a 7-14 record. In their last contest, Lebo was knocked off by Flinthills (Rosalia, KS), 2-1, in a non-league test.
The Trojans now own a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Spearville for a non-league test on Saturday, October 4. Stanton County will face a Lancers squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Kiowa County (Greensburg, KS). The Lancers record now stands at 18-2.
