In Tuesday's league bout, the Lamar Texans (Houston, TX) volleyball team held off the visiting Westside Wolves (Houston, TX), by a margin of 3-2.
The Texans now possess a 15-11 record. They play next when they travel to Wisdom for a 6A Region III District 18 bout on Tuesday, October 7. Lamar will clash with a Generals team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Heights (Houston, TX). The Generals record now stands at 0-6.
With the loss, Westside falls to 9-13 on the year. The Wolves host Bellaire (Bellaire, TX) to battle the Cardinals in a 6A Region III District 18 match on Tuesday, October 7. The Cardinals enter the match with a record of 11-13.
