North Carolina High School Volleyball - Wayne Country Day overwhelmed by Liberty Christian Academy

Liberty Christian Academy Heat (Richlands, NC) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Wayne Country Day Chargers (Goldsboro, NC), 3-0 in a league outing.

The Heat now have a 12-6 record. They play next when they travel to Greenfield for a NCISAA Coastal Plain Independent outing on Thursday, October 2. Liberty Christian Academy will play a Knights team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Faith Christian (Rocky Mount, NC). The Knights record now stands at 8-10.

With the loss, Wayne Country Day drops to 1-15 on the campaign. The Chargers host Harrells Christian Academy (Harrells, NC) to confront the Crusaders in a NCISAA Coastal Plain Independent game on Wednesday, October 1. The Crusaders go into the game with a record of 3-13. Harrells Christian Academy lost 3-2 in their recent league game against Epiphany (New Bern, NC)
