In Tuesday's league match, the Lone Star Rangers (Frisco, TX) volleyball squad overcame the host The Colony Cougars (The Colony, TX), by a count of 3-0.

Coming up next, the Rangers clash with the Newman Smith Trojans (Carrollton, TX) in a 5A Region II District 12 bout, on Friday, October 3. Lone Star will attempt to better on its 15-10 season record. The Trojans come into the bout with a 6-20 record after their 3-0 league loss to Creekview (Carrollton, TX).

With the loss, The Colony drops to 8-22 on the campaign. The Cougars host Turner (Carrollton, TX) to battle the Lions in a 5A Region II District 12 match on Friday, October 3. The Lions enter the match with a record of 5-10. Turner lost 3-0 in their recent league match against Wakeland (Frisco, TX)
