The Cavaliers (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Fleming (Roanoke, VA). The Colonels enter the Blue Ridge contest with a 1-11 record. In their last contest, Fleming was knocked off by Northside (Roanoke, VA), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Terriers battle the Franklin County Eagles (Rocky Mount, VA) in a Blue Ridge contest, on Thursday, October 2. William Byrd will attempt to move on its 3-9 season record. The Eagles enter the contest with a 7-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Staunton River (Moneta, VA).
