Ohio High School Volleyball - Mathews crushed by St. John

In Tuesday's league match, the St. John Fighting Herald (Ashtabula, OH) volleyball squad overcame the visiting Mathews Mustangs (Vienna, OH), by a count of 3-0.

The Fighting Herald now possess a 16-3 record. They play next when they travel to Grand Valley for a Northeastern bout on Thursday, October 2. St. John will clash with a Mustangs team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Cardinal (Middlefield, OH). The Mustangs record now stands at 15-4.

With the loss, Mathews drops to 7-12 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Pymatuning Valley (Andover, OH) to battle the Lakers in a Northeastern contest on Thursday, October 2. The Lakers enter the contest with a record of 8-11. Pymatuning Valley won 3-1 in their recent league contest against Harding (Fairport Harbor, OH)
