Ohio High School Volleyball - West Jefferson over Mechanicsburg

The West Jefferson Roughriders volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Mechanicsburg Indians to 1 in the Roughriders league triumph on Tuesday.

The Roughriders now possess a 10-7 record. They play next when they host Triad for a Ohio Heritage North outing on Thursday, October 2. West Jefferson will play a Cardinals team coming off a 3-1 league win over Northeastern (Springfield, OH). The Cardinals record now stands at 12-7.

With the loss, Mechanicsburg drops to 6-10 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Fairbanks (Milford Center, OH) to play the Panthers in a Ohio Heritage North game on Thursday, October 2. The Panthers enter the game with a record of 14-4. Fairbanks lost 3-2 in their recent league game against West Liberty-Salem (West Liberty, OH)
