In Tuesday's league challenge, the host New Plymouth Pilgrims volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Nampa Christian Trojans.

The Pilgrims (8-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Melba (Melba, ID). The Mustangs come into the 3A Western Idaho challenge with a 9-5 record. In their last test, Melba nudged Vision (Caldwell, ID), 3-0, in a league test.

The Trojans now sport a 16-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Melba for a 3A Western Idaho test on Tuesday, October 7.
