Neshoba Central Rockets (Philadelphia, MS) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they observed their volleyball team overcome the host Warren Central Vikings (Vicksburg, MS), 3-1 in a league challenge.

The Rockets (27-5) will now prepare for their challenge against West Lauderdale (Collinsville, MS). The Knights enter the non-league challenge with a 15-15 record. In their last challenge, West Lauderdale beat Pearl (Pearl, MS), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Vikings meet the Canton Tigers (Canton, MS) in a Class 6A Region 2 challenge, on Thursday, October 2. Warren Central will attempt to upgrade on its 15-12 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 4-11 record after their 3-0 league loss to Callaway (Jackson, MS).
