California High School Volleyball - Yuba City bounced by Nevada Union

The Yuba City Honkers volleyball squad (Yuba City, CA), dropped 3-0 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA)

With the win, Nevada Union improves its record to 12-14 on the season. The Miners host River Valley (Yuba City, CA) to battle the Falcons in a Foothill Valley League contest on Thursday, October 2. The Falcons enter the contest with a record of 10-13. River Valley lost 3-2 in their recent league contest against Placer (Auburn, CA)

Next, the Honkers battle the Roseville Tigers (Roseville, CA) in a Foothill Valley League contest, on Thursday, October 2. Yuba City will attempt to move on its 5-9 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 14-7 record after their 3-0 league win over Twelve Bridges (Lincoln, CA).
