In Tuesday's league challenge, the host New Hope Christian Phoenix volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Whitefield Academy Lions.

The Phoenix (3-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Heritage Christian (Topeka, KS). The Eagles enter the Midwest Christian challenge with a 7-5 record. In their last challenge, Heritage Christian beat Whitefield Academy (Kansas City, MO), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Lions meet the Heritage Christian Eagles (Topeka, KS) in a Midwest Christian challenge, on Thursday, October 2. Whitefield Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 9-4 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 3-0 league win over New Hope Christian (Smithville, MO).
