In Tuesday's league challenge, the host North Michigan Christian Academy Comets volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Wolverine Wildcats.

The Comets (8-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Mackinaw City (Mackinaw City, MI). The Comets come into the Freelance challenge with a 7-8 record. In their last challenge, Mackinaw City was beaten by Harbor Light Christian (Harbor Springs, MI), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Ellsworth Lancers (Ellsworth, MI) in a Freelance challenge, on Thursday, October 2. Wolverine will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Lancers come into the challenge with a 0-11 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Boyne Falls (Boyne Falls, MI).
