California High School Volleyball - River Valley can't get by Placer

The Placer Hillmen edged the visiting River Valley Falcons volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Tuesday's league game.

Next up, the Hillmen face the Del Campo Cougars (Fair Oaks, CA) in a Foothill Valley League game, on Thursday, October 2. Placer will attempt to advance on its 6-11 season record. The Cougars come into the outing with a 3-13 record after their 3-0 league loss to Twelve Bridges (Lincoln, CA).

With the loss, River Valley drops to 10-13 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA) to play the Miners in a Foothill Valley League outing on Thursday, October 2. The Miners come into the outing with a record of 12-14. Nevada Union won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Yuba City (Yuba City, CA)
