In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Salem Spartans volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Pulaski County Cougars.

The Spartans (12-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Cave Spring (Roanoke, VA). The Knights come into the River Ridge challenge with a 7-10 record.
