Saint Francis Lancers (Mountain View, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball team overcome the host Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory Fightin' Irish (San Francisco, CA), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Lancers (14-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Valley Christian (San Jose, CA). The Warriors come into the West Catholic challenge with a 12-3 record. In their last challenge, Valley Christian was beaten by Archbishop Mitty (San Jose, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Fightin' Irish meet the Lowell Cardinals (San Francisco, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 2. Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory will attempt to upgrade on its 10-7 season record.
