The Samuell Spartans volleyball team (Dallas, TX), was knocked off 3-0 in Tuesday's league contest with the visiting West Mesquite Wranglers (Mesquite, TX)

The Wranglers (5-16) will now prepare for their contest against Poteet (Mesquite, TX). The Pirates go into the 5A Region II District 14 battle with a 25-11 record. In their last battle, Poteet achieved victory over Adams (Dallas, TX), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Spartans now own a 1-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Spruce for a 5A Region II District 14 battle on Friday, October 3. Samuell will encounter a Timberwolves squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Seagoville (Dallas, TX). The Timberwolves record now stands at 2-12.
