In Tuesday's league match, the TMI-Episcopal Panthers (San Antonio, TX) volleyball squad prevailed the visiting Savio Eagles (Austin, TX), by a count of 3-0.
Coming up next, the Panthers clash with the Antonian Prep Apaches (San Antonio, TX) in a TAPPS 5A District 3 bout, on Thursday, October 2. Match Summary
What an epic night of volleyball for TMI! Both JV and Varsity came out strong against Savio, lighting up the scoreboard and creating a huge gap in points. The energy in the gym was electric, and the Panthers were absolutely on fire from the first serve to the last point.
Varsity Highlights:
• Star players: Setter #12 Libby Whitworth 33 assists, 9 digs, 4 aces out 28 serving attempts.
• Varsity set the tone early with tough serves and a powerful offense, backed by relentless defense that left no ball untouched.
• The teamwork and communication on the court created a fast-paced, unstoppable rhythm that Savio couldn’t match.
It was a night to remember for TMI volleyball!
