California High School Volleyball - Scotts Valley held off by Soquel

In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Soquel Knights volleyball team scored a close 3-2 victory over the Scotts Valley Falcons.

The Knights (8-6) will now prepare for their challenge against San Lorenzo Valley (Felton, CA). The Cougars enter the Santa Cruz Coast challenge with a 0-8 record. In their last challenge, San Lorenzo Valley was tipped by Scotts Valley (Scotts Valley, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Falcons meet the Santa Cruz Cardinals (Santa Cruz, CA) in a Santa Cruz Coast challenge, on Thursday, October 2. Scotts Valley will attempt to improve on its 11-4 season record. The Cardinals go into the test with a 6-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Harbor (Santa Cruz, CA).
