North Carolina High School Volleyball - Southern Lee overwhelmed by Union Pines

The Union Pines Vikings topped the visiting Southern Lee Cavaliers volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league game.

Next up, the Vikings face the Triton Hawks (Erwin, NC) in a Carolina Pines 6A game, on Thursday, October 2. Union Pines will attempt to advance on its 16-2 season record. The Hawks come into the outing with a 4-12 record after their 3-0 league win over Western Harnett (Lillington, NC).

With the loss, Southern Lee drops to 14-4 on the campaign. The Cavaliers travel to West Johnston (Benson, NC) to play the Wildcats in a Carolina Pines 6A outing on Thursday, October 2. The Wildcats come into the outing with a record of 10-9. West Johnston lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Harnett Central (Angier, NC)
