The Midlothian Trojans edged the host Freeman Mavericks volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Wednesday's non-league game.

Next up, the Trojans confront the Clover Hill Cavaliers (Midlothian, VA) in a Dominion game, on Thursday, September 5. Midlothian will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Cavaliers go into the game with a 1-1 record after their 3-0 league loss to Cosby (Midlothian, VA).

The Mavericks (1-3) will now prepare for their game against Deep Run (Glen Allen, VA). The Wildcats go into the Colonial game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Deep Run nudged Godwin (Richmond, VA), 3-0, in a league game.
