In Wednesday's league challenge, the host Daphne Trojans volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the St. Paul's Episcopal Saints.

The Trojans (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Gulf Shores (Gulf Shores, AL). The Dolphins come into the non-league challenge with a 12-2 record. In their last challenge, Gulf Shores edged Baldwin County (Bay Minette, AL), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Saints play the Saraland Spartans (Saraland, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 10. St. Paul's Episcopal will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Gulf Shores (Gulf Shores, AL).
