Newport Harbor Sailors (Newport Beach, CA) fans went home in high spirits Wednesday as they saw their flag football team achieve victory over the visiting Edison Chargers (Huntington Beach, CA), 26-14 in a league battle.

With the win, Newport Harbor improves its record to 5-2 on the season. The Sailors travel to Trabuco Hills (Mission Viejo, CA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 7. The Mustangs go into the battle with a record of 6-2. Trabuco Hills won 20-14 in their recent non-league battle against Dana Hills (Dana Point, CA)

The Chargers now have a 1-8 record. They play next when they travel to Corona del Mar for a non-league battle on Wednesday, September 11.
