In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Riverside-Durham Pirates volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Durham School of the Arts Bulldogs.

The Pirates (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against South Granville (Creedmoor, NC). The Vikings enter the non-league challenge with a 7-0 record. In their last challenge, South Granville beat Franklin Academy (Wake Forest, NC), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Carrboro Jaguars (Carrboro, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 10. Durham School of the Arts will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Jaguars enter the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Cedar Ridge (Hillsborough, NC).
