In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host Streator Bulldogs volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Pontiac Indians.
The Bulldogs (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Reed-Custer (Braidwood, IL). The Comets enter the challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Reed-Custer got by Dwight (Dwight, IL), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Indians meet the Dwight Trojans (Dwight, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 21. Pontiac will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
