The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Bryan County Redskins (Pembroke, GA) and the host Islands Sharks (Savannah, GA), observed Bryan County's softball team prevail over Islands by a tally of 20-1.

The Redskins (6-5) will now prepare for their bout against Emanuel County Institute (Twin City, GA). The Bulldogs go into the 1A D-II Region 3 bout with a 10-7 record. In their last bout, Emanuel County Institute knocked off Vidalia (Vidalia, GA), 3-1, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Sharks clash with the Jenkins Warriors (Savannah, GA) in a 3A Region 3 bout, on Thursday, September 5. Islands will attempt to advance on its 2-8 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 1-8 record after their 13-1 league loss to Long County (Ludowici, GA).
