Georgia High School Softball - Chattooga bounces Mt. Zion

In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Chattooga Indians softball team scored a nice 13-0 win over the Mt. Zion Eagles.
The Indians (5-5) will now prepare for their match against Fannin County (Blue Ridge, GA). The Rebels come into the 1A D-I Region 7 match with a 7-1 record. In their last match, Fannin County notched a victory over Christian Heritage (Dalton, GA), 12-3, in a league match.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Douglas County Tigers (Douglasville, GA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 5. Mt. Zion will attempt to better on its 4-8 season record. The Tigers come into the match with a 6-5 record after their 22-6 non-league loss to Bowdon (Bowdon, GA).
