Cook Hornets (Adel, GA) supporters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting Tattnall County Warriors (Reidsville, GA), 10-0 in a league game.
With the triumph, Cook improves its record to 12-1 on the year. The Hornets travel to Appling County (Baxley, GA) to play the Pirates in a 2A Region 3 game on Tuesday, September 10. The Pirates enter the game with a record of 11-1. Appling County won 15-0 in their recent league game against Crisp County (Cordele, GA)
The Warriors now hold a 2-6 record. They play next when they host Telfair County for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 10. Tattnall County will play a Trojans squad coming off a 5-2 non-league win over Clinch County (Homerville, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 4-5.
