The Thunderbirds now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they host South Anchorage for a 4A Cook Inlet outing on Tuesday, September 10. Bettye Davis East Anchorage will play a Wolverines team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Wasilla (Wasilla, AK). The Wolverines record now stands at 5-5.

With the loss, Eagle River drops to 5-8 on the campaign. The Wolves host Chugiak (Chugiak, AK) to play the Mustangs in a 4A Cook Inlet outing on Tuesday, September 10.
