Virginia High School Volleyball - Giles over Narrows

Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Giles Spartans (Pearisburg, VA) and the visiting Narrows Green Waves (Narrows, VA), observed Giles's volleyball team top Narrows by a count of 3-1.

The Spartans (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Grayson County (Independence, VA). The Blue Devils enter the Mountain Empire contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Grayson County notched a victory over Rural Retreat (Rural Retreat, VA), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Green Waves battle the Tazewell Bulldogs (Tazewell, VA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 5. Narrows will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the contest with a 0-3 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Grundy (Grundy, VA).
