Fans at Wednesday's league contest between the Haverford Fords (Havertown, PA) and the host Upper Darby Royals (Drexel Hill, PA), observed Haverford's volleyball team top Upper Darby by a count of 3-0.

The Fords (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Plymouth Whitemarsh (Plymouth Meeting, PA). The Colonials enter the non-league contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Plymouth Whitemarsh notched a victory over Springfield Township (Erdenheim, PA), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Royals battle the Strath Haven Panthers (Wallingford, PA) in a Central contest, on Monday, September 9. Upper Darby will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Panthers enter the contest with a 5-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Kennett (Kennett Square, PA).
