In Wednesday's league challenge, the host Horizon Science Academy McKinley Park Hawks volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Wolcott College Prep Wolves.

The Hawks (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Cruz (Chicago, IL). The Dragons come into the Lake Shore Athletic challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Cruz lost by Waldorf (Chicago, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Wolves play the Waldorf Thunder (Chicago, IL) in a Lake Shore Athletic challenge, on Friday, September 6. Wolcott College Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Thunder come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 2-0 league win over Cruz (Chicago, IL).
