North Carolina High School Volleyball - SouthWest Edgecombe can't get by North Johnston

The North Johnston Panthers edged the host SouthWest Edgecombe Cougars volleyball squad by a score of 3-2 in Wednesday's non-league test.
With the win, North Johnston improves its record to 6-3 on the season. The Panthers host Spring Creek (Seven Springs, NC) to face the Gators in a Neuse Six 2A test on Tuesday, September 10. The Gators go into the test with a record of 3-7.
The Cougars now own a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ayden - Grifton for a Eastern Plains 2A test on Tuesday, September 10. SouthWest Edgecombe will face a Chargers squad coming off a 3-0 league win over North Pitt (Bethel, NC). The Chargers record now stands at 9-0.
