In Thursday's league outing, the host Cedar Valley Aviators soccer squad scored a tight 3-2 win over the Bingham Miners.

The Aviators (5-4) will now prepare for their outing against Mountain Ridge (Herriman, UT). The Sentinels enter the 6A Region 2 test with a 5-4 record. In their last test, Mountain Ridge edged Copper Hills (West Jordan, UT), 5-0, in a league test.

The Miners now sport a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they host Riverton for a 6A Region 2 test on Tuesday, September 9. Bingham will clash with a Silverwolves team coming off a 5-0 league win over Salt Lake Academy (Herriman, UT). The Silverwolves record now stands at 5-4.
