Carbon Dinos (Price, UT) fans were in high spirits Thursday as they observed their soccer squad triumph over the visiting Emery Spartans (Castle Dale, UT), 11-1 in a league bout.

The Dinos now possess a 9-2 record. They play next when they travel to Manti for a 3A Region 13 bout on Tuesday, September 9. Carbon will play a Templars squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Union (Roosevelt, UT). The Templars record now stands at 6-2.

With the loss, Emery moves to 5-5 on the year. The Spartans host North Sanpete (Mt. Pleasant, UT) to face the Hawks in a 3A Region 13 game on Tuesday, September 9. The Hawks come into the game with a record of 1-5. North Sanpete lost 1-0 in their recent non-league game against Delta (Delta, UT)
