In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Mary Help of Christians Academy Blue Jays soccer squad scored a tight 6-0 victory over the Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology Lions.

The Blue Jays (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Ridgefield Memorial (Ridgefield, NJ). The Royals go into the NJIC - Liberty outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Ridgefield Memorial was overwhelmed by Emerson (Emerson, NJ), 7-0, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Lions confront the Midland Park Panthers (Midland Park, NJ) in a non-league test, on Monday, September 8. Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record.
