North Carolina High School Football - Corvian Community tops Lake Norman Charter

The Corvian Community Cardinals football team scored 12 points and restricted the host Lake Norman Charter Knights to 0 in the Cardinals non-league win on Thursday.
In their next game, the Cardinals face the Ballantyne Ridge Wolves (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 11. Corvian Community will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Wolves go into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 37-0 non-league win over South Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC).
The Knights (0-3) will now prepare for their test against Forestview (Gastonia, NC). The Jaguars come into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Forestview topped East Gaston (Mt. Holly, NC), 12-6, in a non-league test.
