Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Bath County Chargers (Hot Springs, VA) and the host Stonewall Jackson Generals (Quicksburg, VA), observed Bath County's volleyball team top Stonewall Jackson by a count of 2-0.

The Chargers (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against Buffalo Gap (Swoope, VA). The Bison go into the non-league battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Buffalo Gap was defeated by Staunton (Staunton, VA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

The Generals now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Stuarts Draft for a non-league battle on Monday, September 8. Stonewall Jackson will encounter a Cougars team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Fort Defiance (Fort Defiance, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 3-1.
