The Bear Grass Charter Bears topped the host Pamlico County Hurricanes volleyball squad by a tally of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Bears now have a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to Washington for a non-league outing on Wednesday, September 10. Bear Grass Charter will play a Pam Pack team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to North Johnston (Kenly, NC). The Pam Pack record now stands at 4-3.

With the loss, Pamlico County drops to 6-5 on the campaign. The Hurricanes travel to East Carteret (Beaufort, NC) to play the Mariners in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 9. The Mariners come into the outing with a record of 4-4. East Carteret lost 2-1 in their recent non-league outing against New Bern (New Bern, NC)
