Midland Valley Mustangs (Graniteville, SC) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad overcome the host Brookland-Cayce Bearcats (Cayce, SC), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Mustangs (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Airport (West Columbia, SC). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Airport was beaten by South Aiken (Aiken, SC), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bearcats meet the Gray Collegiate Academy War Eagles (West Columbia, SC) in a test, on Tuesday, September 9. Brookland-Cayce will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record. The War Eagles go into the test with a 2-0 record after their 2-0 league win over North Augusta (North Augusta, SC).
