Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Community Christian Cyclones (Wilson, NC) and the host Trinity Christian Tigers (Greenville, NC), observed Community Christian's volleyball team top Trinity Christian by a tally of 2-0.

The Cyclones (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Greenfield (Wilson, NC). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 1-7 record. In their last test, Greenfield was defeated by Faith Christian (Rocky Mount, NC), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Tigers now own a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Christ Covenant for a test on Monday, September 8. Trinity Christian will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Pamlico Christian Academy (Grantsboro, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 3-4.
