Tunstall Trojans (Dry Fork, VA) backers were pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Dan River Wildcats (Ringgold, VA), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Trojans (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Rustburg (Rustburg, VA). The Red Devils go into the non-league game with a 2-0 record. In their last outing, Rustburg defeated William Campbell (Naruna, VA), 2-0, in a non-league outing.

With the loss, Dan River drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Halifax County (South Boston, VA) to play the Comets in a non-league outing on Monday, September 8. The Comets enter the game with a record of 0-2. Halifax County lost 2-1 in their recent non-league game against Northern Durham (Durham, NC)
