The Delaware Christian Eagles volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Liberty Christian Academy Eagles to 1 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Eagles now possess a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Danville for a non-league game on Saturday, September 6.
The Eagles (1-6) will now prepare for their bout against Berne Union (Sugar Grove, OH). The Rockets come into the non-league bout with a 1-5 record. In their last bout, Berne Union was nudged by Grove City Christian (Grove City, OH), 2-0, in a non-league bout.
