With the win, Lake Catholic advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Cougars travel to Padua Franciscan (Parma, OH) to face the Bruins in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 9. The Bruins go into the test with a record of 5-1. Padua Franciscan won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Beaumont School (Cleveland Heights, OH)

The Panthers now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Notre Dame Academy for a non-league test on Saturday, September 6. Elyria Catholic will play a Eagles team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Mercy (Farmington Hills, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 2-3.
